Craft Night with the GNO Group

 Hello, crafty friends!
Our Girls' Night Out (GNO) group meets monthly for fun and inspiration...and occasionally crafts! At our October meeting, member Jill Peer led the group in creating beautiful tiles colored with Alcohol Ink. As you can see, we had a great turnout for this fun activity!

Alcohol Inks are the key to this project because they blend perfectly, creating an endless range of colors.
The Alcohol Ink applicator comes with felt pads which are made for working with this liquid product. The ladies squeezed drops of various colors onto the pads and set to work blending them onto their tiles.
As you can see from Diana's workspace, the colors are amazing!

After the ink dried, some of the ladies stamped images on top of the background with StazOn Ink. It works on every surface and will not smear, even on a tile's slick surface.

Look at these gorgeous tiles! They would be beautiful on an easel or hanging on a wall in your home.

The ladies had a great time creating together! Many thanks to Jill for sharing this fun craft with the group.

New folks are always welcome! You can read more about the Girls' Night Out group here. If you'd like to join the fun, call us at (515) 965-1102 to sign up for our next meeting on Monday, November 10, 6-7:30pm. It's free and always a great time! Just bring any projects you've been working on at home to share with the group for our inspiration time.
Janet
