Mixed Media Make-N-Take: Wed, May 29, 1-6pm
Hello, Memory Bound friends!
This is a make and take must!
Maggie has created an amazing mixed media 5x7 canvas packed, once again, with techniques! She will not only demonstrate how to mist paper, crinkle it and then add it to the canvas with gesso, but you will also be painting, gluing to create 3D effects, stenciling, inking, doodling and splattering! OH MY!!
The best part of Maggie's make and takes, is that she teaches a variety of techniques and ideas that you can use in your own creations!
Now, since there are SO MANY amazing techniques to do in order to complete this fabulous canvas, we are asking you to
please sign up, ahead of time, for a one hour time
slot. You may stop in the store to sign up or just give us a call! Either way, you will want to hurry, spots are going fast!

June is birthday month at Memory Bound! We've got tons of great ideas to help you celebrate birthdays in style, including a fun birthday-themed class! As I've been looking through old pictures lately, I've developed a new appreciation for the importance of preserving memories for milestones such as these. Katie's latest creation, Bo Bunny Birthday Book, will allow you to save your favorite memories from the day in a colorful mini-album format. Quick, easy, and done...memories preserved for the future!

Hello, Memory Bound friends!
Thanks to all the Memory Bound gals who covered my classes during my recent absence due to the unexpected loss of my father. And thanks to Katie for providing such great blog posts while I was away. It is good to be back to Memory Bound, my "happy place"!
I'm super excited about my upcoming June Graphic 45 card set. It features 6 very special cards for wedding, anniversary, Father's Day, and more. We've just added a few more spaces to each of the two classes, so give us a call at (515) 965-1102 to sign up for class or order a kit!

Bazzill just released some new rolls and they are AWESOME!!
The new antique Bazzill paper "washi" tape is decorative, thin and translucent. Love these new patterns! Especially how they look "roughed up!" Try stamping, writing, inking and misting the tapes before using on a paper craft.

Stop by the store anytime from 1:00-6:00 on Wednesday, May 22 for the make n' take and create this wonderful mixed media gift bag!
Maggie has packed loads of techniques into this make and take! You will paint with Silks, glue with a matte medium, stencil with Ferro, Splatter with Black China H2O and Spray with Shimmering Mist. If you like to get your hands messy, then this is the one for you!
All of this, for only two dollars!

Hello, Memory Bound Doodlers!
We are so excited that Michelle Houghton has agreed to come back to teach another class on doodling! Her work is amazing and so much fun!
Learn this creative art form to make embellishments & frames using 3 new border patterns & 16+ repetitive doodle patterns. (oh my!) You will complete one 12x12 layout with doodled frames (for three 4x6 photos) & at least 4 doodled embellishments inspired by the Zentangle trend. Add them to a layout or save them for another project.

Friday, May 31, 6-8pm
Fee: $16 – includes 1 pen
Skill Level: Any – No drawing experience needed. No need to take Oodles of Doodles first! Bring Basic Class Kit
