Next Art from the HeART Class - Jan 30!

 Hello to our Memory Bound friends!

With all the cold weather we've been having, we have a class coming up which is sure to warm your heART! Maggie's next Art from the HeART canvas class is this Thursday, January 30, 5:30-7:30pm. We still have a few openings, so call us at (515) 965-1102 to reserve your spot!

Here are some photos from the first fun class held last week! As you can see in the top photo, the ladies used a collage technique to create the foundation for their canvases.

 

 Then they used aged silver and black embossing enamel with a heat gun to create a beautiful frame for the canvas. This frame was actually cut from our Accu Cut die board. With the embossing technique, it looks like metal. Amazing!

  

As you can see, the completed canvas is beautiful! It would be perfect to display on an easel in your home or give as a special gift.

 

 

We hope you'll join Maggie for her next class! Maggie makes it easy and fun to learn mixed media techniques. You'll leave with a completed project to keep or give to someone special!

Bring Basic Class Kit, Matte Medium, embossing ink dabber, Embossing Enamel: Aged Silver & Aged Black, Distress Ink: Black Soot, Glossy Accents, blending tool, and paper distresser.  

Join us for a heART-filled class making a mixed media canvas that is sure to be your favorite home décor. Your fee includes a donation to Art for Ankeny, a local committee working to bring public art to Ankeny. We will be using inks, paints, heat embossing, & more so be prepared to roll up your sleeves for fun! During the evening class, you can sip on wine sponsored by Art for Ankeny.
