Hello, Memory Bound friends!
I recently discovered a folder of stories my late grandma wrote about me when I was a little girl. Her daily journal entries captured many details of my life growing up -- what I liked to do, my favorite toys, funny things I said -- that would have been completely lost to me had she not taken the time to write them down. My grandma didn't have a camera, but her words are so descriptive that I can visualize every detail. Now that my she and my parents are gone, there is no one left to share that history with me, so Grandma's journal entries are an incredible treasure.
I feel the same way about the scrapbooks I'm creating for our family. Through scrapbooking, we have the unique opportunity to tell the stories of our lives -- through photos and journaling, much like the stories my grandma wrote for me. I truly believe that the stories contained in our scrapbooks are some of the best gifts we can pass on to future generations.
If you or someone you know would like to get started scrapbooking, we invite you to join us for one of our upcoming Beginners' Scrapbooking Classes. Scrapbooking is an amazing hobby and we would love to help you get started!

In class, we discuss the PRODUCTS you'll need and the PROCESS of making a layout. Then we assist each student individually in creating a page. Along the way, we discuss color and design principles and look at lots of samples so students can start to determine their own scrapbooking style. It's always a fun time!
