We've had a great time this month at our Wednesday Workshop Make-N-Takes featuring Front and Back Cards made with stamps by Art Impressions. Join in on the fun! Wednesdays in June, just drop in between 1 and 6pm and, for a small fee, you'll learn fun new techniques and leave with a card you'll be proud to share. Wednesday afternoons are a great time to visit Memory Bound and learn something new!

Stop by on Wednesday, June 18 between 1 and 6pm to make our adorable kitty card! This week's Front and Back Card features a kitty peeking through a window. How cute is that?

Bring Basic Class Kit, ¼” Scor-Tape, pop dots, Cat’s Eye Chalk: Chestnut Roan, fine-tip gluepen, Gelly Roll Pen: Stardust, and border punch of your choice. 
Inject a bit of retro-girlfriend humor into your cards! Betsy has designed 6 sassy cards using vintage images, funny phrases, and the Carta Bella Homemade with Love collection. It will be a fun time and includes some, "Oh, that is so true!" laughs!

Learn to Use Copic Markers on June 28

  Hello, Memory Bound friends! 
Have you heard about Copic Markers? These markers are preferred by artists the world over because they're made with an alcohol-based ink which gives vibrant colors and allows smooth blending. Paper crafters use Copic Markers to color stamped images which can be used on cards, scrapbook pages, tags, gift bags, and so much more. You’ll love how easy they are to use and how professional your projects will look!

COPIC MARKER BASICS

Bring Basic Class Kit
   Learn how to use the Copic Sketch alcohol markers! These artist markers are designed for coloring & blending. Our certified instructor will teach you Copic basics about shading, blending, using the color wheel, and you'll make 2 cards.  Markers provided.

Custom Banners by Memory Bound

 Hello, Memory Bound friends!

Today we would like to share a fun project that Diane just completed for one of our Memory Bound customers. She asked us to create a banner set for her daughter's first birthday...a very big event! The customer shared some ideas for color and theme, and then Diane got to work on this very special assignment!

 Diane chose cardstock and patterned paper in the desired color scheme then cut a series of circles and letters in our Accu-Cut die cutting center. She layered colors and sizes to add interest to her design. After spelling out "Happy Birthday", she punched holes and added ribbon to string the circles together to create a banner which can be hung on a wall, window, or mantel.

I love how Diane combined ribbon styles and colors!

 The customer also asked Diane to create a sign for the door announcing the big event. The "Little Sunshine" theme works great with the colors!

Diane also created a shorter "I'm 1" banner for this little girl's high chair! How cute is that?

 Here is the completed set, including the door sign, high chair banner, and wall banner. These colorful decorations will be perfect for the big day!

If you're like me, you go through a LOT of birthday cards in a year. Join me on June 22 to make 12 birthday cards suitable for all ages, so you'll always have a card when you need one! We'll be using the colorful retro-look "Celebration" line by Carta Bella to make our card set. As a bonus, you'll receive a 6-piece birthday stamp set in class! It will become a favorite for your card making!
