Announcing a new product, thinlits Tim Holtz!

Although thinlits are generally used for papers and cardstock, their benefit is you can have more detail in the design as well as more pieces in a set for a great price.  You’ll see just what i mean with the other thinlits in this release, but i’ll start off with the new alphanumeric set that includes 125 dies (yes one hundred twenty five individual dies) a mix of 3/4″ letters, numbers, and punctuation for $19.99 crazy right?  well i wanted to have multiple letters, etc. so they can be used to create whatever you want to say in a single pass through your die cut machine.  although you can certainly use the actual cut out pieces of these dies, these were designed to create ”knock-out” words on your projects – see the example below…

 

 

I am do in love with these letters...the amount of letters you get in the pack AND the price!! A must buy (if I say so myself!)

Get Started Scrapbooking at Memory Bound!

 Hello, Memory Bound friends! 
If you or someone you know would like to get started scrapbooking, we invite you to join us for one of our upcoming Beginners' Scrapbooking Classes. Scrapbooking is an amazing hobby and we would love to help you get started!

 

In class, we discuss the PRODUCTS you'll need and the PROCESS of making a layout. Then we assist each student individually in creating a page. Along the way, we discuss color and design principles and look at lots of samples so students can start to determine their own scrapbooking style. It's always a fun time!

Make a Halloween Album on Sat, Oct 4!

Hello, crafty friends!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! I have so many vivid memories of Halloween as a child -- especially going Trick-or-Treating with my friends in the small town where I grew up. Most of the houses were well-lit and friendly except for one creeeeepy house that all of us were afraid to visit. Each year an old man sat on the porch with a bowl of apples, and we dared each other to see who would be brave enough to climb the stairs to get one! Of course, he was a very nice old man...but on Halloween, everything seems just a little bit scary!

When I saw Jill's Halloween Album -- 13 Dead End Drive -- I immediately thought of those Beggar's Nights long ago! This would be the perfect album for saving those photos and stories about Halloween. Skill Level: Any / Bring Basic Class Kit, Distress Ink (your favorite brown), blending tool, splat mat, fine-tip glue or Xyron X, scoring blade, small pop dots/foam tape, Glue Dots, Liquid Pearls: Avocado, Black Pearl, Platinum Pearl Wink of Stella Pens: Silver & Black, Glaze Pen: Clear, ½” circle punch, & 1/8” Scor Tape. 

We’ll use the colorful fairy-tale inspired papers from “An Eerie Tale” to create a set of beautifully detailed cards &  a treat bag for Halloween, birthday, thank you, & anniversary. Create 5 vintage cards in class & leave with everything to make one more.
