Hello, Memory Bound friends!
Have you heard about Copic Markers? These markers are
preferred by artists the world over because they're made with an alcohol-based
ink which gives vibrant colors and allows smooth blending. Paper crafters use
Copic Markers to color stamped images which can be used on cards, scrapbook
pages, tags, gift bags, and so much more. You’ll love how easy they are to use
and how professional your projects will look!
Katie makes learning about Copic Markers easy and
great fun! I hope you'll join her at our next Copic Marker Basics
class. Check out the details below, then give us a call at (515)
965-1102 to register!

Hello, Memory Bound friends!
If you're a fan of the Big Shot, BIGkick, Big Shot, Big Shot Pro or Vagabond die cutting machines, you'll want to take a look at the Sizzix Magnetic Platform, just released this fall. It's now back in stock at Memory Bound!
What's a Magnetic Platform?
This platform is MAGNETIZED to hold thin metal dies in place while cutting! If you're a fan of Spellbinders and similar dies, this is GREAT NEWS: You no longer need to use tape or Post-It notes to hold your metal dies in place while cutting! The Magnetic Platform works with Thinlits, Framelits, Spellbinders Dies, Taylored Expressions dies, and similar sets, as well as chemically etched wafer-thin dies.
Of course, you will still need a set of cutting pads to create your cutting "sandwich". I love Sizzix platforms because they include a handy diagram right on the top, so you'll always know where to place your paper and dies!
Be sure to pick up an extra set or two of cutting pads to go with your new Magnetic Platform!

Hello, Memory Bound December Daily Fans!
Today, Diane has graciously agreed to share with us her ENTIRE December Daily album that she created for her daughter, Jill. Not only is this album absolutely amazing, but it is actually all ready to go for December!

This year Diane's inspiration came from an 8x8 Christmas paper from the October Afternoon collection, Make it Merry.
Diane inked pages, cut out shapes from her cricut and used the Make it Merry postcard pack from October Afternoon.
The Hanging Sign is a die from Tim Holtz. Diane used the paper Make a Countdown for her numbers throughout the book. For additional numbers and sentiments, Diane used stamps and stickers.
Loads of room on this page with the eight inch pocket and three tags tucked perfectly inside for additional stories!
The tinsel in one of Diane's favorite ribbons to use during the holiday. It's available at the store to purchase by the roll. You won't regret picking one up for yourself!
After die cutting banners, Diane embossed them for added dimension. The trees were cut from the Acu-cut machine available at the store!
To create the shiny Christmas ornaments, Diane use Tim Holt's new distressed glitter, Festive Berries and Mustard Seed.
These trees were cut from a Cricut cartridge. Adding Tim Holt's new Mirrored Stars is the perfect sparkly touch.
This is Diane's fourth year of creating a December Daily for her and her family. Her children and grandchildren can be caught looking through the books year round. And isn't that what it is all about..telling and remembering the stories?
Thanks, Diane, for sharing with us!
If you love the idea of the December Daily, but don't have the time to create your own, then Janet's December Daily kit would be perfect for you! Check out this post to see Janet's amazing December Daily!
